Practical Lab: Development of Analyzers and Visualizers for the Open Learning Analytics Platform (OpenLAP)Arham Muslim
The aim of open learning analytics is to improve learning efficiency and effectiveness in lifelong learning environments. In order to understand learning and improve the learning experience and teaching practice in today's networked and increasingly complex learning environments, there is a need to scale learning analytics up which requires a shift from closed learning analytics tools and systems to learning analytics platforms where everyone can contribute and benefit.
The aim of this lab is to develop Java-based new analyzers and visualizers for the openLAP, short for Open Learning Analytics Platform.
Students must be enrolled in a computer science program, that is Master-Informatik, SSE or MI. Knowledge in elearning and Java is recommended.
